Its an open-world game but the world does not have many interactive elements that can contribute towards a better overall world, there are just there without any meaning to them, quite bland at times It begins in the town of Summiton, where the three protagonists are in training as they undergo a final test before embarking on a mission to save the world of Alteriaįrom the Dark Elves. It’s a decent RPG game, but it has a repetitive bug where the game suddenly freezes and you lose all your progress, so make sure to do lots of saves every now and then. It has dynamic missions, a story with different paths and ramifications according to the player’s choices, and a cast of curious characters captured in a 2.5D world that attracted a lot of my attention. Alterium Shift is presented as a JRPG in which we’ll enter the world of Alteria Grey HavenĪ magical continent where we’ll be involved in an adventure in the classic style of the genre.

The game has a unique sense of humor that brings the world to life, whether you are reading the names and descriptions of tombstones, completing quests, or talking to NPCs. These books will provide you with more background information, lore, and history on various things in the world. You can delve deeper into the game’s storyline by looking through optional books from the library in the town of Summiton. Get ready for a journey through Alteria, where magic and mystery await you.
